What if America was based not on the Declaration of Independence but on the values of Mein Kampf? December 1776. George Washington's volunteer army of ill-equipped, poorly trained, homesick civilians face a British army freshly reinforced with German mercenaries, the most experienced soldiers in the world. However, these soldiers have come not from the eighteenth-century but from 1945: Nazi Germany. When the Germans betray the British and offer their tactical ideas and advanced machinery to Washington, they turn the tide of the war. But their support comes at a price. These Germans have very different views on how the new American nation should develop, and before long the ideology of the Founding Fathers, rooted in liberty and freedom, is challenged.
