After decades-long research, Jüri Loog has completed the first part of the trilogy “HISTORY OF RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK IN ESTONIA”, which concentrates on the period of the Russian Empire (1870-1918). The book with its numerous photos and diagrams provides an excellent overview of the history of rolling stock in Estonia. The book is published in Estonian, English and Russian, in order to introduce the history of rolling stock in Estonia to an audience as wide as possible.
The second part of the trilogy deals with the rolling stock fleet of the independent Republic of Estonia (1918-1940) and the third part with the Soviet period.
