Double bill of post-apocalyptic horror thrillers. In ´28 Years Later´ (2025), decades after the Rage Virus devastated the country, a group of survivors live on a small island connected to the mainland by a single barricaded causeway. Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) takes his 12-year-old son Spike (Alfie Williams) with him to the mainland to teach him how to kill the infected but when Spike hears rumours of a doctor living on the mainland, he breaks all the rules of his community to find him in the hope that he can help Isla (Jodie Comer), his sick mother, to recover. In the sequel ´28 Years Later: The Bone Temple´ (2026), depraved cult leader Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal (Jack O´Connell) inducts Spike into his group while Dr. Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) continues to bond with the infected Alpha he named Samson (Chi Lewis-Parry). As Kelson learns more about the Rage Virus and the possibility of a cure, Jimmy searches for new offerings and Spike´s life descends into a nightmare.
