Japanese anime based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo. After a lengthy and devastating war, the countries of Westalis and Ostania are finally at peace, but there are those who seek to reignite the war. Westalian spy Twilight (voice of Takuya Eguchi) needs to create a family for a mission designed to maintain the peace between the two nations. Calling himself Loid Forger, he marries Yor (Saori Hayami), unaware that she is an assassin from Ostania also in need of a marriage of convenience to maintain her own cover, and adopts Anya (Atsumi Tanezaki), a telepathic orphan. When Loid learns from his handler that he will be reassigned and replaced on his mission unless meaningful progress is made, he is determined to salvage the situation. Soon he, Yor and Anya are embroiled in an adventure involving a cooking competition, missing microfilm and a treacherous soldier but when Anya is kidnapped, can Loid rescue her and retrieve the microfilm without blowing his cover?
