DVD Ex Machina

Alicia Vikander, Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson star in this sci-fi thriller written and directed by Alex Garland. Programmer Caleb Smith (Gleeson) wins a contest to spend a week at the remote home of his company´s CEO, Nathan Bateman (Isaac). When he arrives, Caleb soon learns that it is also the location of a laboratory involved in pioneering research into artificial intelligence and robotics. Nathan has created a robot with artificial intelligence named Ava (Vikander) and he wants Caleb to evaluate her ability to think. However, as the week progresses, Caleb begins to doubt Nathan´s intentions. Meanwhile, Ava may prove to be more sophisticated and capable than either man could have imagined...
