Miracles in concrete

The book includes essays by renowned architectural historian Professor Kenneth Frampton and the author of the book, Carl-Dag Lige, as well as ѕelected articles by August Komendant. The only known in-depth interview with the Komendant - architect Oscar Tenreiro´s conversation with him from 1985 - is being published in Estonian for the first time. The book also provides a visually captivating overview of Komendant´s most important professional works - from the early concrete buildings of the 1930s in his native Estonia to the masterpieces of world architecture completed in the 1960s and 1970s in North America. Most of the book´s 500 illustrations are published for the first time.
