Yoann Ricau kasvas üles Edela-Prantsusmaal Gers´i nõlvadel, ümbritsetuna oma vanaema kokakunsti aroomidest ja maitsetest. Hiljem on ta elanud Tallinnas, Singapuris, Pariisis, Londonis, New Yorgis ja New Jerseys - kõikjal ka süüa tehes ja toitu nautides. Nüüd on Yoann tagasi Eestis ning elab Tallinnas koos kolme ulaka basseti ja ühe näljase ameeriklasega.
