Unlocking Estonian Grammar and Structure. A Practical Guide

After teaching Estonian as a foreign language to students at the University of Tartu and other adult learners for more than 20 years, I have learned that grammar is impossible to avoid. No matter which materials we use, sooner or later someone asks the first “why.” For most learners, “just because” is not enough – they want to understand the logic behind the language.
