A romantic comedy about the unlikely connection that forms between three very different New Yorkers - and they never seem to get their respective lives in order. The trio consists of a quick-witted novelist, a waitress trying to be a responsible single mother, and a gay artist who is never satisfied with his paintings. It is through a fourth complicated personality that they make contact - namely a dog named Verdell.
