Third instalment of the adventure comedy franchise based on the video game series. Sonic the Hedgehog (voice of Ben Schwartz) and his friends Tails (Colleen O´Shaughnessey) and Knuckles (Idris Elba) are tasked with catching and stopping Shadow the Hedgehog (Keanu Reeves), who was created as part of a secret government experiment and has now escaped confinement. Shadow possesses the ability to teleport and has super strength, making him a formidable opponent, and so Team Sonic may have to join forces with their arch-nemesis Dr. Ivo Robotnik (Jim Carrey) if they are to have any hope of stopping Shadow. The cast also includes James Marsden, Tika Sumpter and Krysten Ritter.
