BR Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Jeremy Allen White stars as the eponymous musician in this biographical drama written and directed by Scott Cooper. In 1981, Bruce Springsteen has just finished touring for ´The River´, his first number one album, and is on the verge of superstardom. However, he is also burned out and struggling to cope with both his newfound success and with lingering demons from his childhood. As record executives at Columbia pressure him to produce more commercial hits, he instead rents a home in Colts Neck, New Jersey and begins working on the songs that will form his next album, ´Nebraska´. Recorded in his bedroom there, the songs are raw and haunting and tell stories of struggling blue-collar workers and outsiders but his team must battle Columbia to preserve what he has created. The cast also includes Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser and Stephen Graham.
