Cardfight!! Vanguard 9

In the game Vanguard each player represents an astral spirit dueling on the fictional planet Cray. The cards in players´ decks, called "units", represent characters from Cray that players can summon. And due to its never-before-seen gaming style Vanguard has become popular throughout the world. A new challenger has appeared before Aichi in volume 9 of Vanguard. A man calling himself Professor O challenges Aichi to a match before all of his colleagues. Meanwhile, Shingo builds up some courage to challenge Rekka to a battle of his own! Aichi´s battle is a bit unusual. As of late most of his competitors have utilized the extra-sensory ability of psyquaila. Those battles were intense and much more dangerous than just a card game. They were life and death matches where damages were taken by his deck, he as a player would feel the attack. This match with the Professor is not quite as intense, but this new foe claims he also possesses psychic abilities. With almost every move he would claim that he could forsee moves and cards played. His first few moves were so strange that he rarely revealed his attack cards. Instead he relied on buffs, defense and traps keeping his attack cards, and essentially his deck from taking any damage. But Aichi was able to counter that... With a single card. A card that the Professor claimed he could see but could not defend against given it´s double attack. Now Aichi may have promised to no longer summon his Psyquaila under gaming conditions, but his opponents, unfortunately, have never made such claims. In fact, there is a core of gamers out there that are more than happy to continue to utilize their "power" as they are essentially addicted to this extra-sensory power. Called Psyquaila Zombies these gamers are play for the thrill and they go from battle to battle hoping to get as deep into the game as possible. There are those who which to dеlete such gamers from the scene and Kouji Ibuki is at the forefront of that movment.The Inspiration for the Hit Anime and Card Game:Vanguard is an up-and-coming trading card game from the creators of YuGiOh. And much like its predecesor this game combines high-fantasy action elements with fun vibrant character designs that is appealing to collectors and gamers alike.
