There, she became known for her photographic social reportage and had close contact with Anna Freud, Donald Winnicott, and Kim Philby, among others. At the same time, she worked on behalf of the KGB and played a key role in recruiting the Cambridge Five, the most famous spy ring maintained by the Soviet Union in Great Britain.
